Movie Poster in Photoshop. Today I’ll be showing you how to create an Movie Poster in Photoshop by merging various images and then editing them so they fit in well. Creating a Movie Poster in Photoshop is no different than creating any other poster, or in fact, any other image that comprises of several individual images. As far as this tutorial goes, I have no idea why I chose to place the bike above ground level although I’m sure you didn’t notice that on first look until I just pointed it out. In this tutorial, we will be working mostly with filters, blend modes, and adjustment layers.
1. For this tutorial, the image below will serve as background image. You can download this image through this link.
2. Next, we need an image through which we can extract a bike. For that we will be using the image below. You can download this image through this link.
3. You will need to delete the background of this picture using the selection tool.
4. Drag and drop the motorcycle image onto the first document. Adjust the image size and orientation accordingly.
5. Create a new layer. Fill it with black color.
6. Go to: Filter > Pixelate > Mezzotint and then make the following changes:
7. Change its Blend Mode from Normal to Screen.
8. Change the Opacity to 35%
9. Create another new layer. Fill it with black color.
10. Go to: Filter > Noise > Add Noise
Make the following changes:
11. Change its Blend Mode from Normal to Screen.
12.Create an Adjustment layer and choose Color Lookup.
Then make the following changes:
13. Create an Adjustment layer and choose Brightness/Contrast.
Then make the following changes:
14. Create an Adjustment layer and choose Photo Filter.
Then make the following changes:
